The Treasurer’s Office is committed to serve taxpayers with respect, professionalism and a commitment to customer service.
By statute, the Township Treasurer is required to receive, protect and manage available Township funds through responsible and conservative investment policies, to insure the highest level of fiscal responsibility.
The Treasurer’s Office is responsible for the daily receipt, deposit and disbursement of all taxes and other receivables, including water and sewer bills of the Township. This office is also responsible for the billing, collecting and maintaining of all taxes and special assessments within the Township. Special assessments include paving, water and sewer projects, street lighting, delinquent bills for water and sewer, noxious weeds and trash pickup.
The Treasurer’s Office is currently accepting applications for the 2017 tax deferments. To qualify, a household income cannot exceed $40,000.00. The applicant must also be 62 years of age or older, paraplegic, quadriplegic, eligible serviceperson, veteran, widow or widower, blind or totally and permanently disabled. Those that farm agricultural real property may also qualify. For more information, please contact the Treasurer’s Office. All deferment applications must be received by September 15, 2017.
