Parking Lot Construction & Senior Center Temporary Hours

Update from Supervisor Sam Previti

I would like to give an update on our 35 year old Municipal Township Hall parking lot. The parking lot and sidewalks were in disrepair causing many tripping hazards, we have done a total asphalt removal, during this process we installed water and sewer lines to the municipal park in the rear so we can build proper restroom facilities, as well as electrical and security infrastructure for the expansion of our pickle ball courts and new Pavilion to be installed in the park in 2024.  The parking lot now has added proper cement curbing and safe sidewalks and installation of asphalt has begun looking to complete this project during the early December.   The senior center is now open for groups to meet again, but our fitness center experienced water damages in September and we are still dealing with insurance adjusters reviewing the repairs needed causing our fitness center to be temporality closed until the insurance adjusters complete their report for repairs to begin.  I encourage everyone to use our Romeo Community Center in the time being for your fitness needs until we get the repairs completed.  I thank you all for your patience during this time.
